Baseball Texturing

These are more textured objects I did in Slim for the film. A baseball and a old rusty baseball card box. The baseball was most interesting as you can tell. I cut it up and took a picture of it, then used the texture for my UV's that I placed on my Baseball. It was fun.

Alrighty, here is the latest of a recent project that I have been working on. I Textured, Modeled, UVmapped, and created the shaders for these suckers in Mental Ray. And guess what this project is still not done. I still need to finish texturing his cloths and rigging his body and then I will animate him. The goal is to cover all basic aspecs of 3d. Also if you stay tooned by the end of this week I should put up most of my animations that I've done and my demo reel.

Modeling in 3d

Alrighty, so a weakness of mine has been modeling. (because it's so technical to me). I'm not much for a technical person but I am trying to be...somewhat. I modeled this character following the Learning Autodesk Maya 2009 tutorial. Next I'm going to rig it and maybe texture it. I haven't decided. Recently I've been doing animations too but have not put them on the blog because I will maybe later.

Textured Oil Barrels

Right now I'm starting to help with a 3d animated film with the Seniors. I had to texture some oil barrels for the scene. With This texture I used Slim in Renderman for the first time. It was hard at first like every new program you use but I'm starting to get a hang of it.

Texturing the Great Wall

During Christmas break, a friend, Scott and I decided to start a 3D project. This is some of the project. I won't tell you much else other than he's the modeler and I'm the texture artist. Right now I'm painting bricks on the Great wall. Lots of experimentation involved here, but I'm proud to say that I painted all the bricks you see. Why have I taken on this task. Because I like it.

priest in Danger

This is my painting final for Sam Neilsons class. It's been a good class I've learned alot. This is a story of a frog priest being robbed by two villans. One of them is an amature. His more experienced partner is annoyed by him.

My first flash animation

I'm very proud of my first attempt at flash animation.
My boss wanted me to do this for a project at work.
My next goal is to work with symbols and rotate body parts.

1st Teapot in the works

Right now I'm working on my teapot in Maya for my first computer 3d project ever. I'm trying to detail it further to make it as realistic and appealing as possible. If you have any suggestions, I would love to know what I could improve on specifically. Thank you.

Yeehaa! Happy Halloween!

Bill's favorite holiday is Halloween, not just for the trick or treating and haunted houses, but also for the giant ant bull riding at moon light. This is my finished final for a project in Sam Nielsons class.

His pet ant

After Fred gets high off candy on Halloween night, he escapes his house late at night with his friends to do some ant bull riding. This is done for my concept class with Sam Nielson. I tried to be as dynamic as I could. Next we're going to be painting our characters in photoshop.

Hey boys

So this is my attempt to add a hue. I forever want to keep fixing it but I'm done with it for now. I need to study light more. Again I've modeled in photoshop Joe Olsens line drawing.

2 minute gesture of Woman in class

I decided to post this because this has been my favorite gesture I've done. At the time I was trying to get closer to Ryan Woodwards gesture style. Recently I've been less successful at it. I'm putting two versions up. The hard copy and one manipulated in photoshop with a gradient map. Tell me what you think.
